Dr. Kelli Jones is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she attended Louisiana State University.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Poultry Science in 2000, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.  Following veterinary school, she pursued a Masters of Avian Medicine at The University of Georgia, which she completed in 2004. In addition, in 2005, Kelli successfully became a Diplomate in the American College of Poultry Veterinarians. She is currently serving as President-Elect for the college.

Dr. Jones began her career in the poultry industry after joining Aviagen, Inc. in 2004, where she served as Technical Services Veterinarian for North America focusing on broiler breeders and pullet health.  She joined the faculty at Mississippi State University in April of 2009, as Assistant Clinical Professor of Avian Medicine at the Mississippi Veterinary Research and Diagnostic Laboratory in Pearl, MS. It was during this time that she was able to serve backyard poultry clients in Mississippi and gain a reputation as an authority in backyard poultry medicine.

Dr. Jones was appointed Associate Clinical Professor just prior to joining Ceva full time as Manager of Technical Services and Veterinarian in the United States in December of 2013. Kelli is responsible for supporting Ceva’s US turkey customers and helps to support their Immucox product lines in both turkeys and chickens.  Kelli also has a strong interest in pullet/male and breeder health, including male management, and enjoys working with commercial layers.
