VVEC has an opening for a full-time veterinary technician. We are a 2-doctor practice separate but within the state-of-the-art Peak Veterinary Referral Center in Williston, VT. We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills and teamwork capabilities. As a vet tech with VVEC, you will be responsible for client communication and education, taking histories, physical exams, animal restraint, venipuncture, running lab work, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, surgical assisting, post-surgical recovery of patients, surgical pack & prep, some digital radiography, learning how to set up for cataract surgery, running electroretinograms, etc. Small and large animal patients are seen with some wildlife/exotics.
