License renewal:  Licenses are up for renewal every other year.  Current veterinary licenses are valid through May 31, 2017.  If your license has expired or you need a copy of your license, please contact the the Vermont Board of Veterinary Medicine.  You can log into their online licensing here:  https://secure.vtprofessionals.org/Login.aspx  and print a copy of your license.  If you have forgotten your user ID and password which were given to you upon licensure or renewal, you can request a new one by emailing the renewal clerk at renewalclerk@sec.state.vt.us.

Continuing education requirements:  Documentation of 24 hours of continuing education from Board-approved programs is required for license renewal.  The VVMA is an approved CE provider, and the Board maintains a list of pre-approved providers and programs on their website.   Veterinarians are encouraged to seek pre-approval from the Board for a CE course before attending the event in question if the CE provider is not on the list of approved providers.  Click here for the form you will need to submit to the Board to seek CE credit approval and for more information.
