Volunteer help wanted on occasional basis in Bennington - From Dr. George Glanzberg, Bennington, VT.
Since retirement, I have been running a monthly free clinic for pets in poverty.  We offer treatment of parasites, minor illnesses, wounds and injuries, as well as basic wellness exams to pets from families who do not have the funds to go to a veterinarian.  We offer services on the 2nd Sunday of the month between 3 and 7pm in a local church, and usually see between 25 and 35 animals. We would like to begin offering a clinic twice monthly, but I would need veterinary backup in case of sickness or vacation. If you are interested in volunteering to be an occasional backup veterinarian, please call me or email me (802-447-0172 or gowieg@comcast.netto discuss it.  Additional information is available on www.helpapet.net. Thanks for your consideration.
