Join The Vermont Veterinary Technician Association

The Vermont Veterinary Technician Association (VVTA) is open to all technicians and interested office staff. One of our major goals is to provide continuing education for technicians. With the rapid development of new drugs, equipment and techniques it is especially important for technicians to stay current in their field.

The VVTA recently gained endorsement from the Vermont Veterinary Medical Association to administer a private certification plan for Vermont technicians. This will help to increase the level of professionalism of veterinary technicians as well as to advance and promote the veterinary technician profession in Vermont.

There are many reasons to join a professional association. Members of the VVTA may vote, hold office, and also receive individual newsletter mailings. It is a great opportunity to shape the future of your profession in this state, increase your own professionalism in a supportive atmosphere and make new friends and contacts throughout the state. Join us and share your ideas and goals for the future!

Certified Veterinary Technician $50.00 (recertification requires proof of 6 CE credits yearly)

Regular Membership Dues are $25.00 yearly (January 1- December 31).

Student Membership Dues are $15.00 yearly
