Seeking Associate Veterinarian

Onion River Animal Hospital has a rare opening for the right veterinarian. We practice high level medicine with fun technology in a lovely renovated dairy barn. We work hard yet value a sane schedule with time off to enjoy friends and family and the beautiful state of Vermont. Our staff is incredibly stable, good-humored, and committed to their work and the practice. We are searching for an energetic and enthusiastic veterinarian who enjoys the people part of practice as much if not more than the animal part. Practice experience is desired but not required. Special consideration will be given to anyone who has completed an internship. If you have an area of interest, we'd love to hear about it. We offer a schedule that is typically three full days a week with one half Saturday a month. We take turns carrying a pager but use it to advise our clients and refer all medical emergencies to a 24 hour emergency practice. Our compensation includes a fixed salary that is connected to but not based solely on production, paid vacation, memberships, CE and contributions to health insurance and a Simple IRA. Mixed Animal Practice in NY Seeking Veterinarian

The Adirondack Veterinary Hospital is a mixed animal practice in Westport, New York. Westport is located within the Adirondack Park, nestled between Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains. The practice is approximately 80% small animal. The majority of the large animal practice is equine, but it also includes dairy and beef cattle, sheep, goats, swine and camelids. We provide 24 hour emergency care on a rotating three doctor schedule. The small animal hospital was built in 2000. There is also a satellite office 20 minutes away which has served as an outpatient clinic for more than 30 years. Local recreational activities include boating, hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, rock climbing, skiing(cross country and downhill), and mountain biking.
